Movies - i just want to laugh... that to much to ask
TV - WHAT the heck is going on here?
the NEWS - watch the weather, then I dont even watch it any more, makes me sick!
Blogging - would love to stay current, hate feeling like i need to catch up...
Fabric Glue - love how easy it is... hate how stiff it makes things.
Facebook - love feeling connected with those i dont see often... hate it as a TIME waster!
Driving - love quite cars, hate snow birds
Sleeping - love it...yeah... just love it...
Crafting - love it SO MUCH, hate that everything seems to cost money!
Scrap-booking - love that I have learned Photoshop!
House Cleaning (well this is just a Hate...)
-but when its clean or maintained - LOVE...
*see what I mean...
I'm just saying...

Claira Marie Speakman...this is your Birth Story

Dear Sweet baby Claira Marie, I wanted to write down how you joined our little family before time gets away from me. I am not too eloquent in my words, but the thoughts are there :)

Your Due Date was Originally November 21st 2011, and on my first doctors appointment she laughed and said that the baby on the Ultra sound was way older than 12 weeks... So the next day I got a Official Ultra Sound and they bumped me from November 21st to October 2oth!! 4 weeks earlier, AWESOME, and WOW, how could I be Off that much...sheesh. You just keep surprising us around ever corner!!
Now soon later we had our Ultra Sound to determine if you were a boy or girl, (Now I already knew that you were a sweet baby girl)...
-Segway-
When your older sister Hannah was born, and I held her in the hospital for the first time,...I saw you. I saw you as clear as day watching us up in heaven and you were so excited for your sister, and you knew that you were next. Now normally just having a baby only minutes before, you would expect I would totally freak out and panic that another little baby would join our family, to even think of another child was overwhelming, BUT it was not for me! It was a special thing I got to see, and think I was privileged to see, because it help prepare me for your coming....(which by they way took along time.)
-Segway back-
So while getting the ultra sound I knew you were a little girl, and your daddy and me really had Claira picked out from the beginning, and if you were a boy, we had no Idea what to call you...but I knew who you were!
So my pregnancy with you was sooooo super! You were such a sweet little bundle.
Now your Sister Hannah was due on the 20th of May and she came on the 14th...so I just assumed that my little girls love to be early and jump into life, ( the boys took their time and were always past their due dates)...
So once October hit I was really ready, that might have been the problem, I mean my bags were packed for the hospital, baby clothes were washed and in Drawers. Car seats and Strollers ready, crib was up a waiting for you, house was clean....then dirty...then clean...then dirty...well that I was never able to keep ready for you...You must know how it goes! Well we had a family camping trip planned, and I was nervous to go, but the Doctor said I was looking fine, and it was safe to go, so October 7th 2011 weekend we went with Gma and Gpa Speakman and Family and had a ball, and You and I did great.
So we got home and waited some more, then it was the 14th, nope, the 15th, nope...the 20th, nope...the 25th... nope, Well they were talking about a small induction, and well, we scheduled it for November 1st, because I was trying to avoid Halloween as your birthday...
So we enjoyed pre-Halloween festivities and Carnivals, and on Halloween day, we were getting ready for the Church Trunk or Treat, Grandma Rogers was over at the house helping me just catch up on some laundry, when I got hit with a massive contraction out of the blue! Then it went away and a half hour later I stood up to go the the bathroom, when Woooosh! my water broke, it was small amounts but totally a new experience for Mom here, my water never broke with any of your brothers or sister.
The time was 2pm, I called your dad ASAP, and then jumped in the shower, which I was going to do earlier in the Morning and Time got away from me...now I had to. Dad's phone went straight to Voice Mail so I called his work, they didn't get him....20 mins later I called again and said to them.... Tell Jaron to get home NOW....and dad was home in 15 mins.
We left for the hospital at 3pm, Grandma Rogers was still here so she was able to stay with your sister and Wyatt and Hyrum when he got home from school. Again, remember this is Halloween day. So I wasn't sure what i was going to say to the boys about going trick or treating...But Aunt Carley and Uncle Brant came and swooped in and took the boys with them to go Trick-or-Treating, and Hannah got to go with Grandma Speakman and play.
So that was taken care of, and while riding to the hospital which was about 10-15 min drive, the contractions were 2-3 mins apart.
I walked in, not very well... and said, I'm ready to have a baby. They sent me into a room to get into a gown and it felt like i was in there for 20 mins before someone came to talk to me ( but it was only like 5-10...but my contractions were hard and very fast)
Finally a sweet nurse walked in, asked me how i was i said...My contractions are 2 mins apart, i am strep B positive, i want an epidural, we need to move fast!.... she agreed and got me rushed up to Labor and delivery, it was about 3:45pm now. The Nurses didn't wait to get the IV in me they went to work trying to get the antibiotics in for the step B...and fluids. I didn't even have my paper work done or Bands on my arms. It was chaos but things were moving along...and fast. The anesthesiologist came, and got my epidural in, in just minutes. Hurt like a mo-fo! but with in minutes i was out of pain and happy once again. The time is now 4:30.... it was a great time once the epidural kicked in. The nurses calmed down, finished asking me all my questions for registration and I signed all documents necessary to sign my life away... then...I was having some hard pressure and pain... the nurse checked me and said i was at a 9cm and would tell the doctor to say close, She left the room, called the doctor down the hall way (dr Greyson), and came right back in...at that time, I told the nurse I need to push, She said that she just checked me, but would check again.....Ahhh there you were, crowing away. She said not to push, and ran for the doctor. He came in right then and started prepping into a gown and gloves and was talking to me saying not to push! WHAT!? now I am feeling all kinds of pain, and pressure trying to figure out why my epidural was not working... it just didn't make it down that far, and once you started crowing...lets just say, I knew you were there. Finally he let me push, it felt like hours, but your dad said i only pushed for like 5 minutes. 3 good pushes and you were out! It was now 5:35 pm!

Welcome Dear Claira Marie.

Just after your birth, the doctor was delivering the placenta, and as it came out, he said, "OH WOW, I will show you what I mean in just a minute"...
Later Dr. Greyson showed us the placenta, and said that it had ruptured (now he didn't tell me when it happened at birth or just before) and the tear was right in between two veins to the Umbilical cord and if it was 2cm to the left or right, well...this is a miracle baby he said. then he said congrats mom, you did awesome, and then gave me a hug. He was very nice with awesome bedside manners!
You were a blessing from the start!

Arrrr! Twas a Pirate Party!!!

Happy Birthday to my AUGUST boys! Hyrum and Wyatt!!
Hyrum and Wyatt were so awesome to let me throw them a joint birthday party last weekend! August just flew by, and i planned this party on the FLY! I convinced the boys that a pirate party would be so fun (because Indiana Jones was the alternative, and i could not find anything out there that was Indiana Jones with out some Huge effort and lots of planning...but there was tons of pirate stuff, thanks to good ol' Pirates of the Caribbean)

We found the Pinata at Walmart the night before and the other Pirate Festivities at Hobby Lobby! -Who Knew-
Good ol Procrastination and Tired-nation, worked with me this year.
Here are my happy boys with there really cool Priate Pinata!

Here are the kids pre-party, filing the Pinata with all the goodies... they got a kick out of this. It is so funny, my boys now expect a pinata at every birthday, since we have had one for the last few years. Its not a Party unless we have a Pinata mom...says Hyrum...

Now this was a last minute change! We were SO excited that it actually turned out, didn't crash, or fall apart...Right?!... outside of the cook time, and the cakes to Chill time, it only took me about an hour or so to put together... Me and My dear mother had fun figuring out how to get it to work. here is our end result, and we were in bed my 3am... :o), ahh what we do for our Kiddos!

Wyatt turned 3 and Hyurm 6...hence the two candles... I was cutting corners everywhere...hopefully they will still love me when they look back on this as adults :o)...

This has been one of the best Purchases! the Little and big kids love it... and its a little something different for a party too...

now with these $10 pinatas you can not expect too much... all the little ones made it through being able to give the Pirate a good 3 hits...

But once the big kids got up there it didnt stand a chance...

Hyrum was excited that he was the one to Smack the Head Clean off!!
But no worries, we retied the body, and made sure everyone got to take a Swing at it...the last kid, Briggs, my nephew took One swing, and Popped the Pirate right open...worked out quite well.

Hyrum and Wyatt with their cake, they thought it was awesome!

They had a really great time! thanks to all those who came to celebrate with us! Arrrr! Happy Birthday to my Jr. Mateys! We love you two!!

Happy Birthday Wyatt Trejo!!! 3 Years Old!!

This is how i found Wyatt quite often when he would fall asleep, or just casually laying somewhere, with his hands folded and clasped into each other. Such a peaceful look, don't you think?

Time Just will not slow down!

This is more of a Journal entry for My Hannah Bea who is 15 months Today!
(beware of length and lack of organization, I am not poetic or a great writer, i just have to get it down someway or another, or it will never happen)

What a fast time it has been, and when i look back i can not believe that Hannah has not always been in our life (all my kids for that matter). Miss Hannah has only been in our family for 15 months... we can still count the months!, But i feel like she has been mine -forever!

I don't know if it is because she is my girl, or its in her nature, or she is just my miracle, but this Baby girl of mine, is Heaven. I truly adore every moment with her, and have since birth. I love feeding time, she is just the cutest eater right now... I love her when she wakes up in the mornings, snuggle time, I love her active exploring time, I love her nap times too... I love to watch her watch Her BIG brothers! Hannah just gets a kick out of them. And the boys are loving how interactive she is getting too.

Hannah loves to smile and give kisses. she is starting to understand how to make people laugh, which is so fun to see her being silly. it gives her so much personality. OH, and she listens so well.
She understands so much. i could say to her "want to go change your diaper"...and she stops what ever she is doing, does and about face and beeline for her room. first time she did this was about a month ago, Jaron and I laughed, because we didn't know where she was going, and then were floored to see her waiting at her changing table...and we thought, NO WAY!
She is starting to say all kinds of words, or at least attempting them. Which counts for me. Hannah has been saying for a while now, "baba, mama, dada, hieee" but has added, " shooo (shoes), diepa (diaper), and wipsss (wipes), Hiya (hyrum)". It is just the best to see the development.

She just brings so much love and joy into our home and i could not imagine life with out her here with us. I honestly thank my Heavenly Father multiple times a day for our sweet Princess. I am amazed at her gentle sweetness, that just pours from her. And feel many times throughout each day that we do not deserve such pure joy and tenderness. But I know that the Lord loves us, and has Trusted us with these tender spirits. And i am grateful everyday for his Trust!...

Love you my Hannah Bea, thank you for being in our Family!
